Barack Hussein Obama is the very best candidate on either side of the aisle. He is educated, articulate, well informed, supports speaking to one's perceived enemies instead of playing the tired ole Bush cowboy rhetoric of shoot first. He's more mature than either McCain or Bush, neither men having had to endure racism and bigotry as Obama has.

Barack Obama is up front with hit ideas and obviously they have impressed Americans who are also tired of the war for profit to a few. What is even more interesting is that while McCain blabs on about talking with perceived enemies meaning appeasement, Syria and Israel have been talking for months, Turkey, Egypt, Lebanon, Quata are talking peace. McCain and Bush are so out of touch it is embarrassing. Even I knew the first war on Iraq was unnecessary and that diplomacy would have worked, and the first war was a disaster from the start, killing our people needlessly as well as the Iraqis who were, as most people involved in a hideous war with their children dying, driven into a civil war.

Barack is the man who can reach across the world and heal the wounds. He will have the respect and he already has the integrity to do that. And who the heck cares what some preacher said in a church he went to. Look at the likes of the get-rich-quick charlatan Pat Robertson who spouts racism and bigotry like a maniac. He endorsed McCain. Figures.

God bless Barack Obama and his family.

From a white, well educated, articulate, well informed mom, grandmom who has been to the Middle East several times including the brutally and illegally occupied zones Israel commits crimes in with impunity. And the widow of a prominent physician who also served as an officer in the Army and he was a lifelong Republican and resigned from the party because of the warmongering ideas of both Bush presidents and neither of them having done anything to stop the M.E. problems - they continued to send billions to Israel no matter what it did, despite denying the nuclear arsenal and refusing to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and despite running a country on an apartheid-like system that should turn all Americans off.

Again, God bless Obama and his family and protect them from any more racist remarks and attempts to smear them.
